FIELD DAY
Thank you to the more than 20 parents and coaches who participated in the Heritage Field Day on June 12th. At both Las Juntas and John Muir Elementary, the volunteers spread 25 cubic yards of topsoil over the field to improve the condition of the fields. In addition, we raised sprinkler heads in order to provide better coverage and then seed was applied where necessary.

CONCORD CUP
The Heritage U19 Girls Class III team the Sting won the Concord Cup for their age group last weekend. They won all games played and did not concede a goal. In the final they beat DVSC. Congratulations to the young ladies and to coaches Bob and Miles on achieving our first Club tournament victory of the season!

2004 UNIFORMS
Fittings for the 2004 uniforms will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2004 and Monday, May 3, 2004 at the Round Table Pizza parlor located at 6648 Alhambra Ave in Martinez, between 5PM and 8PM.

At the fitting each player will need to identify their desired size of the following apparel:
   Two Adidas Cosmos Jerseys (one black and one white)
   One Adidas GOL Short (black)
   Two Adidas Copa Socks (pair)

As with previous years, we will be offering players the option of purchasing additional socks and shorts at their expense. The prices below are our club's discounted prices, with sales tax included, and for the shorts the application of the club's logo:
Adidas Gol Short $17.32 (black or white)
Adidas Copa Sock $6.50 (black or white)

In addition, the club has available for purchase, at a discounted price, the following items:
   Adidas Women's Sleeveless Jersey $24.08 (white)
   Adidas Escudo Warm-up set (jacket and pants) $76.86
   Adidas Samba Warm-up set (jacket and pants) $54.13

All these items will be on display at the fitting session, if you are interested.

SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES SEASON
The San Jose Earthquakes were the 2003 MLS Champions, and another great season is right around the corner. Teams may wish to plan a group outing to one of the first 2 home games, which promise to be great matchups! The home opener April 10 has the Earthquakes taking on the Chicago Fire in a rematch of last season's MLS Cup. The next home match (May 1) brings the DC United to town as their young phenom, Freddy Adu, makes his debut appearance at Spartan Stadium.

Groups of 15 or more receive discounted East Sideline and Corner tickets -- $12.00 each for Adults and $9.00 each for Youth/Seniors (14 years old and younger qualifies as youth, 60 years old and older qualifies as seniors). Coaches can download this flyer/order form for more info on group outings.
