Just off their dominating 4 - 0 championship run in Anaheim the Heritage U15G Div. I Magic will head north to try for back to back tournament wins this weekend. Magic takes it's Summer 2008 (12 - 2 - 2) record to the Joe Ribuado Tournament this weekend at Cherry Island. In Anaheim, Magic outscored the opposition 15-0 in route to the Championship . The previous weekend they were runners up at Santa Cruz and with that fresh in their minds they did not want to leave any doubt. They beat the host team; 'Anaheim Soccer Club' 3-0 in the final. In 4 summer tournaments, Magic has played in 3 finals winning two Championship trophies. In the fourth, a very tough Cal Cup they were faced with the draw of Boca Jrs, a strong Washington team , and Nike Rush. Despite the long odds, they made it to and lost in the semi's to the eventual winner Santa Rosa.
Their coach is very proud of them and anticipates additional success as the 08/09 season progresses.
